２０１５年２月１５日～３月５日開催の女子差別撤廃委委員会（６３セッション）には、慰安婦の真実国民運動から５人のチームが参加し、杉田水脈、山本優美子の２名はNGO意見表明を行いました。この委員会では日本政府代表の杉山外務審議会が強制連行説は吉田清治の捏造本が基で、朝日新聞がこれを大きく報じたことが国際社会に大きな誤解を与えたことを明言しました。
また、委員会に対して慰安婦問題に対する曲解を正す意見書が民間大隊から、今回８点提出され、公式サイトに掲載されています。
