内戦ならぬ内戦：歴史的な神話を粉砕する

米国の歴史上、生命と財産の損失という点で、一番悲惨な紛争と言えば、いわゆる南北戦争にとどめを刺すでしょう。しかしこの南北戦争はアメリカの学校の歴史の授業ではいい加減にしか教えられていません。学校を出てからも、満足に触れる機会はありません。著者レオナルド・スクラッグズは、米国の「南北戦争」は実は内戦ではなかったと指摘しています。

南北戦争という名の内戦は、アブラハム・リンカーンが奴隷を解放するために南部に挑んだ戦いだったということになっていますが、とんでもない誤解です。スクラッグズは、奴隷制度の廃止がこの戦争の論点ではなかった、と指摘しています——奴隷制度の廃止しようというのは、一部の過激な廃止論者だけの主張に過ぎませんでした。南北が交戦状態に入るきっかけを作ったのは、北部の共和派がその政治的経済的意思を強引に南部に押し付けようとしていたことでした。

リンカーン大統領は、黒人奴隷を解放したらその後は、アフリカに送還するか、米国中部の開拓のために植民として送るかを考えていました。黒人と白人が共存して暮らすなどとは夢にも考えていませんでした。北部諸州にはずっと以前から、白人と黒人の通婚を禁ずる法が存在していました。リンカーンはイリノイ州議会議員だった時に、黒人が「イリノイ自由州」へ入ることを禁止する法案に全面的に賛成しました。

カール・マルクスも言っているように、「北部と南部の戦争は関税戦争に過ぎない。それ以外の大義名分があるわけではない。奴隷制度とは何のかかわりもない。ひたすら北部の人々の権力欲から出たものである」というのが本当のところでした。

すぐに分かる真っ赤な噓が、なにゆえに歴史の真実として幅を利かせ、不愉快な事実は真実であっても、なにゆえに丹念に排除されてしまうのかということです。その挙句、一見聡明な米国人が、歪んだ歴史観に取りつかれるということになっています。南北戦争ではありませんが、迫害されたと主張する人種的マイノリティの政治的経済的要求に唯々諾々と屈服してしまうという現実は、ゆがんだ歴史観に取りつかれた現象の一つです。

The Un-Civil War: Shattering the Historical Myths.

The most destructive conflict in American history, in terms of both lives lost and property destroyed, the so-called American Civil War, has been poorly represented in modern American history classes and, concurrently, everywhere else. Author Leonard Scruggs points out that the American “Civil War” was “not really a civil war”.
A key misconception of the so-called Civil War is that President Abraham Lincoln waged war against the South to end African slavery. Scruggs points out that ending slavery was not the most critical issue at the time—ending slavery was important only to extremist abolitionists. The greater issue that loomed over America before the first shots were fired was the Republican’s ham-handed imposition of their political and economic will onto the Southern states.
For President Lincoln, Scruggs points out, freed blacks were to be deported, either sent back to Africa or to colonize Central America; Lincoln did not see any hope of blacks and whites living together. Northern states had long-standing laws against interracial marriage. As a member of the state legislature, Lincoln “fully approved” of prohibiting blacks entry into “free state” Illinois.
As Karl Marx stated: “The war between the North and South is a tariff war. The war is further, not for any principle, does not touch the question of slavery, and in fact turns on the Northern lust for power,” the key factor for the war was not the question of slavery.
Thinking broadly, one should wonder why it is that demonstrable falsehoods are passed off as genuine history and why unpleasant but true history is diligently ignored.
In the end, based on a distorted view of history, ostensibly intelligent Americans meekly yield to the political and economic demands of supposedly victimized ethnic minorities.
We should take heed that this thinking is not unique to Americans.

『一次資料が明かす　南京事件の真実』（展転社）（改訂版）

その２　第一章　南京事件の発信源はアメリカ宣教師団である

本章では、南京事件の発信源がアメリカ宣教師団に行きつくという事実を南京事件関連の一次資料を基に証明しています。
南京は壁に囲まれた城塞都市です。ここで起こったことを直接目撃するためには、この閉鎖された南京という空間にいるということが絶対条件です。外の人が南京事件について何か語ったり、書いたり、発信したりするためには、この南京の中に南京戦当時いた人から情報を得る必要があります。
そうすると、南京戦当時、南京にいた人は誰なのか、ということから調べていくことが必要になりなります。
中国軍、日本軍は別として当時南京にいた人というと約２０万人の中国市民、そして非常に限られた数の外国人ということになります。
そして、南京事件についての情報発信は、中国市民直接のものはほとんどなく、大部分は在留していた外国人によって行われていたことが判明します。
まず、残留外国人は全部で２２人であり、その名前も特定されています。その中でアメリカ人宣教師団というグループが、１４人と突出した集団であることがわかります。
この２２名の残留外国人による南京事件の情報発信を見ていくと、殆どは宣教師団のうちの１３人によって行われていることがわかってきます。日本軍が南京に入場したほぼ直後に南京を脱出した新聞記者もその書いている記事は、１３人のうちの一人ベイツ南京大学教授の書いた情報をもとにしていることもわかってきます。
結局、南京事件情報として世界に広まった情報の発信源は、１３人のアメリカ宣教師団に行きつくということを多方面から解明しているのがこの第一章です。

Series No.2: Chapter 1 The Original Disseminators of the Nanjing Incident were American Missionaries

This Chapter clearly demonstrates that the original source of the so-called Nanjing Incident was a gang of American missionaries.
Nanjing was a walled castle city. Therefore reliable eye witnesses to the “Incident” will need to have been within the walled city during the battle of Nanjing.
Aside from Chinese and Japanese soldiers, those in Nanjing at that time were Chinese citizens and foreign Europeans and Americans. Most of the information disseminated to the rest of the world about the Incident was in fact by foreign Westerns or via Western conduits.
The 22 foreigners who were in Nanjing at the time of the “Incident” have been fully identified. Of the 22 Westerners, an overwhelming majority were American missionaries. Foreign Westerners formed the International Committee for the Nanking Safety Zone to help Chinese citizens.
On careful examination of the various pronouncements of the “Nanjing Incident” at the time, most can be linked to the American missionaries. Reports in the media of the “Incident”, in the Chicago Daily News, The New York Times, and so on were based on a document conveniently provided by Miner Bates, a leading member of the American missionary group and of the International Committee for the Nanking Safety Zone, and definitely not on first-hand observation.
John Rabe was chairman for the International Committee of the Nanking Safety Zone. He was, of course, in Nanjing, but his accounts in his diary were not based on his own observations but on hear-say or from information spoon fed to him by American missionaries. In fact, he himself did not witness a single murder in Nanjing.

Cancer cells are destined to die. China cancer is no exception. This is a cold, hard fact. Cancer cells are programmed to destroy everything in their paths, even the body that protects them. When the parent body dies, so do the cancer cells, which cannot survive on their own. It is possible to cultivate cancer cells in the laboratory as experimental single-cell cultures, but if the culture medium in which they are grown is not changed every few days, the cancer cells expire. Although cancer cells cannot survive on their own strength, they throw their weight around, like gangsters.
We must give Xi Jinping credit for exploiting the special properties of cancer cells to the fullest. Until Xi grasped the reins of government, not one of the world’s nations realized that China is a cancer. But when Xi Jinping took office, his behavior convinced us of that fact. We must recognize his contribution to the annals of history.
Americans have come to realize that the CCP is indeed a cancer. U. S. Secretary of State Ponpeo’s address made on July 23, 2020 at the Richard Nixon Presidential Library clearly shows this. Ironically he criticized the CCP from the view point of Chinese people. Many Chinese people are grateful to Ponpeo.

History professor James B. Wood of Williams College sums up Western thinking regarding this topic in his book Japanese Military Strategy in the Pacific War: Was Defeat Inevitable?, stating:

“Why were the Japanese so crazy as to take on the United States?” or “How could a country with a GNP about that of Italy or Canada, expect to win?” or “Why should we expect anything else from a country with a feudal warrior code and culture, emperor worship, racial supremacy notions, and a total lack of sympathy or respect for her neighbors?” The implication is that those responsible for Japan’s path to war were ignorant or irrational, perhaps a blend of both, as well as basically evil — a perfectly other counterpoise to the victor of modernity in all respect, the United States.

However, the extremely dismissive view of Westerners has no basis. Japanese leaders were not at all “ignorant”.

On November 15, 1941, three weeks prior to the attack on Pearl Harbor, the Japanese government and Imperial General Headquarters held a liaison conference. Those present discussed the “Draft Proposal for the Promotion of the End of the War Against the United States, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and Chiang Kai-shek,” and decided on its execution. I consider this the “master plan”, a plan for victory, and I will lead readers though this with the aid of practical examples throughout my book.

Had Japanese military leaders stuck to this master plan, the outcome of the war would have been very different, an outcome that Winston Churchill feared in his April 15, 1942 letter to Franklin D. Roosevelt:

I must revert to the grave situation in the Indian Ocean … arising from the fact that the Japanese have felt able to detach nearly a third of their battle fleet and half their carriers, which force we are unable to match for several months. The consequences of this may easily be: (A) The loss of Ceylon. (B) Invasion of Eastern India with incalculable internal consequences to our whole war plan and including the loss of Calcutta and of all contact with the Chinese through Burma. But this is only the beginning. Until we are able to fight a fleet action there is no reason why the Japanese should not become the dominating factor in the Western Indian Ocean. This would result in the collapse of our whole position in the Middle East, not only because of the interruption to our convoys to the Middle East and India, but also because of the interruptions to the oil supplies from Abadan, without which we cannot maintain our position either at sea or on land in the Indian Ocean Area. Supplies to Russia via the Persian Gulf would also be cut. With so much of the weight of Japan thrown upon us we have more than we can bear.

樋口季一郎の第１回極東ユダヤ人大会への祝辞

No.324にて、樋口季一郎はハルピン特務機関長の時に、２万に及ぶユダヤ難民の救助したこと、そして「ゴールデンブック」に、モーゼ、メンデルスゾーン、アインシュタインなどのユダヤの偉人たちに交じって、上から４番目に「偉大なる人道主義者、ゼネラル樋口」と刻まれていることをご紹介しました。

樋口がハルピン特務機関長だった、１９３７年１２月２６に開催された第１回極東ユダヤ人大会に、それを支援して祝辞を述べています。大変格調の高い、祝辞ですので、これをご紹介します。

Higuchi’s Congratulatory Address to First Far-East Jewish Conference

Newsletter No. 324 stated that Lieutenant General Higuchi Kiichiro saved 20,000 Jewish refugees when he was chief of the Harbin Special Agency and that Higuchi is inscribed in the Golden Book in Jerusalem, fourth from the top as “Great humanitarian General Higuchi,” among great Jews, such as Moses, Mendelssohn and Einstein.

He gave his congratulations to the first Far Eastern Jewish Conference held in Harbin, Manchuria on December 26, 1937. It is very a lofty address:

The Conference chaired by Dr. A. Kaufman, president of the Hebrew Association of Harbin

adopted the following decision:

The Jewish people’s co-wishes that Japan and Manchuria regard this conference as the only representative organization, and provide sufficient help to form it in order to protect the Jewish people’s interests.

The First Council of the Jewish communities proposes to all the Jewish people that we perform our duties to Japan and Manchuria and do our best, alongside the Japanese and Manchurian people, to assist the large family–like national policy which is Japan’s and Manchuria’s mission in the Far East.

It should be recognized that under such background Sugihara Chiune issued “Visa of Life” to Jewish refugees in Kaunas, Lithuania in 1940.

樋口季一郎中将顕彰会設立記念シンポジウム

樋口季一郎中将（１８８８～１９７０）はエルサレムのユダヤ民族財団に所蔵されている、「ゴールデンブック」に、モーゼ、メンデルスゾーン、アインシュタインなどのユダヤの偉人たちに交じって、上から４番目に「偉大なる人道主義者、ゼネラル樋口」と刻まれていいます。
樋口喜一郎中将は、ハルピン特務機関長だった１９３８年以来、ナチス・ドイツの迫害から逃れ、満州を経由して上海に亡命することを目指していた総計２万人に及ぶといわれるユダヤ難民の救済に尽力し、その人道主義は国際的に評価されています。
また終戦に際しては、ソ連軍が中立条約を一方的に破棄し、まず南樺太、さらに日本降伏後の８月１８日に千島最北端の占守島に侵攻してきたときも、第５方面軍司令官として「断固反撃」を指令、スターリンの北海道・東北占領計画を粉砕して、日本の国土分割の野望を阻止しました。
樋口中将の功績を後世に伝えるために「一般財団法人樋口季一郎顕彰会」が設立されました。中将の生まれ故郷である、淡路島と、第５方面軍司令官として防衛作戦を指揮した北海道にそれぞれ銅像を建てることを目標に募金活動を始めました。募金活動は日本全国のみならず、広くイスラエルやアメリカをはじめとする世界のユダヤ社会にも呼び掛け、国際的な友好の輪を広げることを目指しています。
去る７月９日には、設立記念シンポジウムが、東京の憲政記念館で開催されましたが、シンポジウムには東京のユダヤ協会のラビ・メンディ・スダケヴィッチ氏、米国の戦略家エドワード・ルトワック氏から、祝辞が届いておりますので、ご紹介します。

Commemorative Symposium on the Establishment of an Association
in Honor of Lieutenant General Higuchi Kiichiro

Lieutenant General Higuchi Kiichiro (1888 – 1970) is inscribed in the Golden Book of the Jewish National Fund, headquartered in Jerusalem, fourth from the top as “Great humanitarian General Higuchi,” among great Jews, such as Moses, Mendelssohn and Einstein.

Beginning in 1938, when Lieutenant General Higuchi was chief of the Harbin Special Agency, he devoted himself to rescuing 20,000 Jewish refugees from Nazi persecution and allowed them to escape to Shanghai via Manchuria. General Higuchi’s humanitarian achievements are highly appreciated by the international community.

Towards the end of the War, the Soviet Army unilaterally broke the Soviet-Japan Neutrality Treaty and invaded South Sakhalin. Then, on August 18, after Japan’s surrender, the Soviet Army invaded Shumshu Island, the northernmost of the Kuril Islands. Lieutenant General Higuchi, as commander of the Fifth Area Army ordered a determined counter-attack and crushed Stalin’s goal of capturing Hokkaido and the Tohoku Region, thereby preventing communist occupation of northern Japan.

For Lieutenant General Higuchi’s feats to be remembered for generations to come, the “General Incorporated Foundation Association in Honor of Higuchi Kiichiro” was established. Fundraising is well under way for two bronze statues, one to be placed in Awaji Island, Lieutenant General Higuchi’s hometown, and one in Hokkaido, where he commanded the Fifth Area Army in service of the nation. Fundraising is currently ongoing not within Japan, but also in Israel, Jewish communities in the United States and all over the world in the promotion of international friendship.

On July 9 of this year, we held a commemorative symposium on the establishment of the Honorable Association at Kensei Kinenkan Hall in Tokyo. フランクリン・D・ルーズベルトは、プログローバリズムと反ファシズムを宣伝するために、政府がハリウッドを管理しようと画策しました。本書はその陰謀に焦点を当て、ルーズベルトとハリウッドがどのように共謀していたかを解明しています。こう述べられています。

「陰謀を画策する政府とハリウッドは、蜜月関係に入った。政府はハリウッドを利用できると考えた。しかし、あまり宣伝色が濃くなると、映画が面白くなくなってしまい、逆に宣伝効果が薄れるという皮肉な結果を生みかねない。また、一方では、制作側は協力する意欲は満々だったが、そのために利益を犠牲にするのはごめんだという態度だった。」

「ルーズベルトは「公的なプロパガンダ機関」を創設し、「行政命令」を頻発して、「世論に影響を与える」ことを画策した。言い換えれば、通常の立法手続きを必要としない大統領令という手段に訴えたのであり、これは「民主的な市民社会を危うくする」ものと言わなければならない。今日では進歩主義者とグローバリストは、ルーズベルトがグローバルなビジョンを持っていたということで、彼を称讃している。しかし、彼は、政府とメディアを悪用して、反対派を抑圧し、自分の野心を喧伝したのに、それについて指摘する声はほとんど聞かれない。本書は、ルーズベルトの手口をチラリと垣間見せると、すぐにカーテンを閉じてしまう。」と評者は、著者の立場を批判しています。

ハリウッド映画は、米国とその自由民主主義のイデオロギーをできるだけ肯定的に描き出すために米国の歴史を改竄していました。たとえば、原本にあった黒人奴隷や黒人の召使などの存在は抹消されていました。また、第二次世界大戦の戦闘場面では、黒人兵士が白人兵士と並んで戦っている。これは全くの虚偽で、部隊は黒人部隊、日系部隊のように人種別に構成されていたのでした。

Hollywood Goes to War:

How Politics, Profits and Propaganda Shaped World War II Movies.

The book highlights Franklin D. Roosevelt’s efforts to spread a pro-globalist, anti-fascist message via government control of Hollywood. A distillation of the collusion between Roosevelt and his globalist cabal and Hollywood:

“…the propagandists and Hollywood embarked on an uneasy flirtation. The government needed Hollywood, but too much propaganda would wreck the movies’ entertainment appeal—the very thing that made the studios attractive to the propagandists. On the other hand, the film makers sincerely wanted to cooperate, but not at the risk of hurting their profits.”

FDR created his “official propaganda agency” to “influence public opinion” through a series of executive orders, that is, presidential decrees that bypassed the usual legislative mechanisms “critical to democratic citizenship.” Today, the progressives and globalists praise FDR for his globalist vision but we hear nothing of his abuse of the government and media to suppress dissent and further his agenda. A small glimpse of FDR’s methods is revealed and then the curtains are shut.

With respect to casting America and its liberal democratic ideology in the best possible light, America needed to change its own history. For example, references to black slavery or black servants in movie scripts were erased. At the same time, in movies depicting World War II battles, black combat soldiers were shown serving side by side with whites—even though the US military was still racially segregated. Whether through deception or whitewash, it was important for Hollywood to show “unity of color and creeds fighting for America.”

休暇を取り、自由を得て：第二次世界大戦における国内戦線のアメリカ軍
アーロン・ヒルトナー
シカゴ大学出版会　２０２０

書評者：　タダシ・ハマ（日本語訳（史実を世界に発信する会」 ）

本書は、第二次大戦中アメリカの本土内に配置されていた米軍戦闘員の問題行為を扱っています。米軍兵士１６００万のうち全く外地に行かず、国内に駐屯していた兵士は６５〜７０％に及ぶと推定しています。
では、こういう後方部隊は何をしていたのか。大酒を飲み、仲間同士で争い、民間人や警察と暴力沙汰を起こし、女をレイプし、時には殺人まで犯すことがありました。ヒルトナーは、暴力も大酒も、それが男らしいことだという自己満足から来ていると分析します。米軍の軍服を着るとマッチョな気分になってしまうのであり、また、軍服を着ていれば、何をしても許されるという甘えが出て来てしまうこともあると分析しています。ところが、黒人部隊の場合は大酒も暴力も白人の人種差別が原因だ、という流行りの見方でかたずけようとしていることを評者は批判しています。
アメリカ国内における米軍兵士用の売春施設について、ヒルトナーは、バージニア州ノーフォーク市の市当局が同市内の売春婦を対象に、指定地域内での売春行為をを許可し、売春婦は市税を納入し、定期的に性病の検診を受けた例を記述しています。ところが、海軍兵士の間に性病が突発的に蔓延したため、海軍の圧力により指定地域を閉鎖させたそうです。その結果、売春と犯罪がノーフォーク市の全域に広がったということです。
評者は、ヒルトナーは太平洋の重要な米軍基地であるハワイのことを書いていないことを批判しています。売春は非合法であったが、売春婦は指紋押捺して登録すれば、売春ができたといいます。売春婦は、報酬として３ドルを受け取り、売春宿がそのうちの１ドルを取っていました。米軍は犯罪と伝染病を防止するために、日本の慰安所と同じような売春対策を講じていたという事実をもっと紹介するべきではないかというわけです。

Taking Leave, Taking Liberty: American Troops on the World War II Home Front

During World War II, there were a lot of US military personnel based in the homeland: out of 16 million American soldiers, “many of these troops never went abroad.” Author Arron Hiltner estimates that “65-75 percent of all soldiers were stationed domestically” and suggests that “as few as 10 percent … actually saw combat.”

What did these rear echelon troops do? Drink to excess, fight amongst themselves, civilians and civilian police, rape and occasionally murder. Hiltner ascribes acts of violence and drunkenness to a masculine ego activated when one dons a US military uniform and a sense of immunity conferred by the uniform. For black American troops, however, Hiltner assures us that their drunkenness and violence were due to “white racism.” Rather than allow a cliché to substitute for an explanation, one could instead review rates of crime of white and black civilians in the 1940s and also examine socioeconomic status, upbringing and level of self-control as contributing to black criminality at the time. However, it is much easier to ascribe inequality to “racism” rather than painstakingly root through history.

As to US military utilization of prostitutes, Hiltner notes that Norfolk, Virginia city officials allowed prostitutes do business within a designated area. Prostitutes paid city taxes and were regularly examined for venereal diseases. However, the Navy pressured the city to close the area due to an “outbreak” of venereal disease among naval personnel, forcing prostitution and crime to spread throughout Norfolk.

Hiltner surprisingly ignored Honolulu, a key Pacific American military base during WWII. While prostitution was not legal, prostitutes were fingerprinted and registered to work as prostitutes. From the prostitute’s $3 fee, the brothel owner received $1. There was probably a wider role of the US military and local governments in the regulation of prostitution in the US during World War II, with the aim of controlling crime and disease transmission—very similar to Japan’s use of comfort station. Perhaps Hiltner will follow up with such a book in the near future.

Cancer is like an international crime ring that dabbles in all types of crime all over the planet. A massive agglomeration of cancer cells like China is much more malicious than any international crime ring. As stated earlier, the Chinese are guilty of stealing natural resources as well as other evil deeds. But even worse is their appropriation of intellectual resources from other nations. There is a strong possibility that the brain power from other nations could be used for evil purposes, and that the Chinese may end up controlling the entire world.
